CARIBBEANTALES 2012

Tuesday, 20 Mar 2012

The third edition of CaribbeanTales is set to be held in Barbados from April 10 to 15 at the Island Inn hotel.

The gala reception and opening ceremony will be held at the Frank Collymore Hall where the films, “Panama fever” and “A day in Bajan Life” will be screened and, “Sing your Song”, a documentary about the famous actor/singer of Caribbean heritage, will be premiered.

The 2012 Barbados leg was launched last week and the programme schedule released, once again featuring workshops, masterclasses, film screenings and this year, a 48 hour film challenge. The 48 hour film challenge gives teams of filmmakers across the region to create an engaging film in just 48 hours.

Film screenings will be held at various locations around the island including the Island Inn Hotel, Frank Collymore Hall, George Washington House and the Olympus Theatres.

The festival is also held annually in Toronto, Canada and New York, USA.
