| Description: | This project will seek to encourage Business persons/executives who spend much time on the road in their work to employ the use of a Handsfree Speakerphone, which will make it safer to make and receive calls on their mobile phones while driving. It is a project endorsed by the Barbados Road Safety Association of which I [David A. Wall] is the Vice President Elect. The Ministry Of Transport and Works have announced its intention to pass the necessary legislation by June 2012 which will see the banning of the use of Hand Held phones. However the legislation will allow the use of Hands Free devices. However, we encourage the driving public to be proactive in the absence of a legislation by taking charge of their safety if they have to use their mobile phones while driving as a part of their activity for work or personal use.
